While they may be tempted to access this site at home we would like to request for the moment that this remain a program only used in class.
Weekly Spelling words will be written into agendas each Monday. Michael Wade, the author of "As it Happened" books is coming to Admiral! Monday, October 21st 12:00 – 12:55: Grade 3 Parents are welcome to join us for the presentation in the gym! Michael Wade will be selling his signed "And Then it Happened" books for $5 each or $40 for the complete set of 13 books during 2nd break. http://www.boysbookshelf.com/index.html Students will complete pages and do class activities through the week to solidify the spelling of these words. Spelling work pages will be sent home at the end of each week to be reviewed during home practice. If there are sections not finished or corrections to make, please encourage students to complete and correct them at home as they review their words prior to the quiz. Each MONDAY they will receive new weekly words and be quizzed on those they learned the previous week. |

Which would make a better pet a bird or fish? Read below - which paragraph is more convincing?? 1. Birds are much better that fish because you can watch them fly, feel their feathers, and listen to them. 2. Birds are better than fish for three reasons. First, birds can be let out of their cages and they can fly around the room. Fish just swim in circles. Second, birds have soft feathers that you can touch and fish are slimy. Finally, some birds open their beaks and have beautiful songs. When fish open their mouths there are only bubbles. These are the reasons that I think birds are better than fish.

I have details to support each reason. (Sometimes, When, If, Once) I have a closing sentence. I have used capitals properly.
